The tally increases

"Come vagabond attend me. You have an appointment with fate!" The voice was planted like a punch right in the front of my head. Smack, bang, square in the middle of my blossoming headache.

Alright already, I thought at my assailant. The cartoons had been sent last night, in that intoxicated sleep deprived state that rips and tears like an unseen shark from the inky gloom beneath. You don't know it has taken your support and sanity unless you're brave enough to feel for the stumps.

Me, I'd rather live with the phantoms than to know the truth.
